Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28, 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion capture and voice work were also used for Tess in the Naughty Dog videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis, graduating in 1995. She was a competitor in Irish dance during her youth and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she received in 1999. Wersching began her acting career by appearing as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. She continued to appear in guest roles on shows like Charmed Killer Instinct, Charmed, and Supernatural. From March 2007 through November 2007 she was her main character Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. She has also worked in theaters , including Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching was FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season run on 24, Wersching played guest roles on a variety of shows such as CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which also features the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she appeared as a regular in the initial season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher in 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed Wersching was the voice actor as well as the mo-cap actor Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to her appearance was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer that was shown on the 7th of December in 2012. Wersching will play the Borg queen in Star Trek: Picard's second season in September 2021.
