Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born on
September 4, 1981, in Houston, Texas. Her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson designs
their glittering costumes & her dad, Mathew Knowles is the manager of
Destiny's Child. Solange is her sibling (they're four years apart) has released
her debut album. She dances along with her sister at DC-3 shows. Beyonce's of
Louisiana Creole & African descent. Whitney Houston discovered her and
her group. Lovefool is a song by The Cardigans, is her favourite song. Her most
coveted piece of clothing is a pair work metallic boots. She has written and
recorded many of the group's tunes including smash hits "Jumpin
Jumpin", "Bootylicious", "Nasty Girl",
"Independent Women", "Happy Face" and "Apple Pie a la
mode". She is the lead vocalist of Destiny's Child. As her opening act,
she went on tour together with Christina Aguilera (2000). Toured together with
TLC as their opening show (1999). Master P is a cat. She was a student at the
High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Houston, Texas. Solange's

her father, is African-American. Her mother, Tina, is of Louisiana Creole
heritage - predominantly African and French with ancestors who came from Louisiana
as well as, prior to that, Canada. Beyonce also descends 1/32 Irish and her
maternal side is a distant Breton-, Spanish-, Indonesian- and Chinese roots.
According to some sources, she created a stage persona known as
"Sasha" to conquer her shyness.
