Emma Stone

Emily Jean "Emma" Stone was born on the 6th of November in 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone (nee Yeager), a homemaker , and Jeffrey Charles "Jeff" Stone, a founder of a contracting firm and CEO. She is of Swedish as well as British Isles heritage. Stone began acting in her early years as a member of the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in an adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". In her teens, Stone was a part of numerous stage productions before she made the decision to pursue acting as a profession. Informally, she developed an PowerPoint presentation, which was backed by Madonna's "Hollywood", and entitled "Project Hollywood", to convince her parents to allow her quit school and move to Los Angeles. The presentation was successful, and she and her mother relocated to LA after completing her education at home while she spent the day auditioning. Her TV debut was when she was cast as Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality/talent show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004). The show resulted in a number of small TV roles throughout the years. Her first film role was Jules in Superbad (2007) and, after a string of success, her main part in the film Olive in Easy A (2010) established her as a leading actress. In Phoenix, Arizona, she was a student at Xavier College Preparatory. While she is a redhead, her natural hair shade her is blonde. Judd Apatow was the one who suggested she change her natural hair color for Superbad (2007). The movie was so well-received , she chose to keep it. She persuaded her parents to allow her to move to Hollywood when she turned 15 by making an PowerPoint presentation that was appropriately titled Project Hollywood. She started acting at the age of 11 years old in Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here she appeared on 16 stages and also took part in the theatre's comedy improv group. Caylee Cowan was also a part of the Valley Youth Theatre.
